It’s not an intellectual thing when a mother protects her child; it’s an instinctive behaviour. We value all those things in the human being because we are human beings! But that’s pretty short sighted and narrow minded and I think it’s down to what Jeremy Bentham said which is, “…the question is not can they reason? Or can they talk? …But can they suffer?”

“We do not advocate ‘right to life’ for animals,” Newkirk handwrote on a post card to neuter/return and no-kill sheltering proponent Nathan Winograd, who then directed the Law & Advocacy Department for the San Francisco SPCA and now does shelter consulting from San Diego.

David Harrell, who manages the store where the animals were dumped, received a letter from Newkirk apologizing and offering money, stating, “If it is true, as it appears, that our staff members have done this, PETA owes you a huge apology. Such conduct is hideous and absolutely violates PETA policy. Although the case is pending, I would like to pay for any expenses that you might have incurred in dealing with body disposal or related matters. Please let me have a bill for that and I will see that it is promptly attended to.“ 1

Ingrid Newkirk kills animals. PETA kills animals and dumps the bodies as garbage. They lie to distraught pet owners who have to rehome their animals and kill the animals the same day. Ingrid Newkirk victimizes people and animals in the name of ending the relationship between humans and companion animals.

I wish I believed in hell so that she could burn in it.
